Lodestar supports St Ives Surf Lifesaving Club
The St Ives Biathlon is an annual event run by St Ives Surf Lifesaving Club.
Lodestar Southwest Limited was proud to sponsor this year’s event which took place on a very wet 30th June.
A run/swim event based on a surf rescue, it consists of a 1.5 mile approx run to Carbis Bay, followed by a 2000m sea swim back to St Ives along the coast.
This year saw top European competitors taking the Open event and a great mixture of visiting competitors, locals, juniors, veterans and novices all putting in great performances across the classes.
